Welcome to
St. Augustine

We're returning to the south for an escape to St. Augustine and we're partnering with the incomparable Aundi Lanaé to get there. We've rented a seven acre estate on a lake so we can play all of our pirates and mermaids fantasies!

Our team will pick you up from the Jacksonville Airport and drive you down to St. Augustine, a city steeped in American maritime lore. Our private chef, Raul, will cook all of your meals while you participate in three highly themed photoshoots, a maritime millenary class, and a sfx makeup class. You will be surrounded by other joyful weirdos for a relaxing weekend of creating art and community.

We've booked three houses on seven acres in St. Augustine so we can have all the room in the world to play pirates and mermaids and sirens. With a pool, a koi pond, and a fire pit there are plenty of places to relax during downtime.

Accommodations

A few months before your retreat you will receive a preference sheet so Raul, our wonderfully talented chef, can craft a menu that not only accommodates your dietary restrictions, but caters to your tastes.

Shoot One:
Davy Jones' Locker

Our first shoot is a two-for-one experience. First we'll start with a special effects make up class and follow it up with a spooky nautical photoshoot inspired by the ocean's depths.

Pirates

We're headed to the beach for day two of photoshoots and we're kicking it off with pirates!

Shoot Three:
Mermaids and Sirens

And finally our mermaid shoot. If you have your own tail, bring it! If not, we'll have a few fabric ones to share! And if the idea of binding your legs up gives you the heebie-jeebies, sirens have legs!

Workshops

Our sfx makeup class will be taught by Myracle, our incredibly talented make up artist. She will walk you through applying make-up and prosthetics for the perfect Davy Jones look before our photoshoot!

Millie will be teaching our other workshop, a maritime millinery class! She is a professional costume fabricator and beautiful artisan. Be sure to leave room in your suitcase for your creation.
